Solus lands in Fife with women’s wellbeing at the heart of its work

Solus grew from a simple belief: that healing happens when we feel safe, heard and held.

Welcome to Solus, the first holistic wellbeing space in Burntisland, here to assist women, children and families through every stage of change. A calm, welcoming haven that started as one space has slowly become a small, meaningful community of practitioners who support women, children and families in a meaningful, lasting way. Whether navigating pregnancy or the early days with a baby, carrying something heavier, or simply in need of somewhere gentle to land, there is space for them at Solus. Their approach is trauma-informed and unhurried, honouring both physical and emotional healing.

Solus was founded by Azra Gilna Duffy (M.Ost, Holistic Health Dip.), a women’s health specialist with extensive expertise in complex pelvic pain, pre- and postnatal care and now scar treatment.

Azra Gilna Duffy has gathered a community of specialists who offer a variety of support, with a focus on trauma-informed practice. Azra is an integrative bodyworker who specialises in women’s health and has spent four years studying complex pelvic pain.

‘The idea of having a collaborative team was one I brought with me from working in Ireland 10 years ago. It had a deep impact on the quality and complexity of care I want to offer women and children within the community of Fife. One that I don't see in place at the moment and that I think is missing.’
